I make an appearance in Rob Orman’s ER Cast this month. He does seem to be the Terry Wogan or Michael Parkinson of the Emergency Medicine world (and you’ve no idea how much of a compliment that is Rob…)
Hats off to Cliff Reid for his brilliant rant on the propofol assassins which I can whole heartedly sympathise with!
Love your work. Why are you teaching anatomy again?! You’re wasted in the classroom.
it’s easier than real work? it is, but that’s not really why i’m doing it. if i work out why i’ll let you know…

Nice rant mate. In the recent PE debate I kept thinking the same thing. We all act like every PE is a massive clot in the trunk of a personal defenxe lawyer! Not true, I loved Smart EM podcast where 20% of normal dead people had a PE. Seen any in your classroom?? Casey
You see lots of intraventriuclar and pulmonary thrombi though I’m not sure we could really call them PEs after they’ve had a few litres of alcohol and formalin pumped through their vascular tree and then put in a fridge for a months. It always gets the students excited none the less!
